@Emma mine sneezes and the mucous comes streaming out. But generally her instinct is sniff it back up 🤦♀️ Can’t wait til she’s of age can teach her to blow it out 🤦♀️
It's the coughing and then wretching it's awful, especially after just feeding he brings it up 🥴 and fighting naps too like I'm trying to help you here kid 😅!
Mine was I got the calpol drops and baby Vicks in a aromas diffuser and a bulb snot sucker and she’s feeling much better. Hope that feel better soon x
My daughter had something similar around 2 weeks ago now. She was really congested especially when lying down, had a horrible barking cough and the mucus was insane. I was having to suction her nose 3/4 times a night, saline spray 2/3 times night a night, vapour rub on my LO back and feet, Calpol vapour plug in and Calpol 3 times throughout the 24hrs, she was only getting 15/20mins sleep before waking up again! We took her to the GP and she was given antibiotics, there are a couple of really horrible viral infections going around just now! After day 3 of AB she was sleeping much better and a lot less congested, by day 6 mucus had really reduced and she had her appetite back! She still has a little linger in her chest but the GP says that could last for another 2/3 weeks
@Ashleigh because mines not off her milk or food he said not to worry so much. But the thing is my girl will never ever and has never turned down a bottle or food. She’s drink and eat herself into oblivion if she could. ill or not ill. So just said to give calpol and wait it out 🙈 Will try the baby vapour rub on back and feet this eve. Our brand of tub says on chest, but made no difference. And like you, she’s restless every 15/20 mins throughout the night last night when normally sleeps through the night. Got to 7am this morning and she finally settled and I got an hrs sleep 😮💨

Yeah our tub says that too, but our son's health visitor had always told us back and feet were best (he's now 8) and I've always followed that with pretty good results. Our daughter is the same, she will eat herself sick if we'd let her and nothing had ever put her off her food until this virus. I mean she had COVID and another virus at the same time just B4 Xmas and she still demanded her milk! Fingers crossed your little one gets better soon, it did take our daughter almost 2wks to get back to herself! The worst week's sleep since she was a tiny newborn and she's now 9mths.
@Carla that's the saline we use for our daughter too and we also use the Calpol vapour plug in, that's really good too 👍🏼😊
