@Parker 又 such a cutie.
Heheh thank you! Same to yours!! 🫶🏼
Since she’s mixed I think her hair will curl later when she gets older like 2+
@Shapree I saw my son’s curls start after 10/11 ish months ! For us they just showed up as more hair grew out. He’s got curly hair but the texture of his hair is quite fine still! I’m very interested to see how he continues to grow into it!
@Parker 又 what a cutie and I love his curls!
It’ll curl later.
It also depend on the black parent's hair type. A parent passing on their 4a genes will probably have a child with looser hair than a parent with 4c hair. Thats not a "one size fits all" theory obviously but it does factor in.
@Dara adorable!!
@Shapree aww soo cute!!
Mine had bone straight hair until around a years then it curled up
@Wendi i did say its not a one size fits all theory. My son has 4b/c hair so none of my dna came through in his hair. But generally speaking if the parent has looser hair, expect the child to have looser hair and vice versa.
@Melissa my boy was around the same! It was quite wispy curly before it started to define at all. I’m very excited to see what it evolves into 🥹
@Melissa soo stinking cute!!
Curls later

All 3 of my kids were bald for the longest and when 2 of my kids that are mixed really started to have more hair it went from straight to curly after 1-2 yrs old
My kids are mixed white and black and their hair didn’t curl until right before they turned a year
My babies curled around 7/8 months
@Parker 又 I'm excited to see how mines progresses too! As you can see in the photo, his is wispy and frizzy currently haha. So cute. How old is yours now? Does he have more defined curls now?
@Shakinah beautiful!!
My lil dude came out looking like he had straight hair because it was so short, as soon as it started to grow in there were curls comin along too!
