Tips for attaching breast pads to inside of dress?

I’m going to a wedding abroad in a couple of weeks and after LOTS of searching have found a dress I feel ok in and can feed in. Ideally I wouldn’t wear a bra as it’s got skinny straps, but I will need to put some breast pads inside. It’s a cowl neck so not super tight around my chest and I’m worried the little sticky bit on the back of the pads isn’t enough to hold them, any ideas of a way to make sure they don’t fall out on the dance floor?!

So I had the Lansinoh pads. And they stuck so well that if my breast shifted (which, of course they do cause mine have a mind of their own), then I’d just leak on my top. Anyways. Try double sided boob tape or fabric tape first. Test it on a different top so that you can keep your dress nice for the wedding. Last resort is repurpose and old tube top, bandeau or cute lacy bralette. It’ll change your look a bit but ultimately save you any trouble with breast pads and leaks. I hope something works. But I’d love to hear an update if you find something that works for you.

Definitely use double sided tape to stick them to your boob. I had a cowl neck dress and tried to just stick them to the dress and because it was so loose on the boob any leakage rolled right down my body to where the dress clung to my skin lol.

@Taylor that’s a good tip thanks!

@Megan I had the Lansinoh ones straight after my LO was born, they were good so I’ll get some more for the holiday. And some tape!
