Stopping meds after FET

When did you stop taking Estrogen and Progesterone support after a successful FET Transfer? I'm 8 weeks pregnant now and was wondering if it will stop cold turkey or slowly wean off? What is the safest? I'm worried I'll lose my Baby again if we do it wrong! How does the doctor know what to do? Shouldn't there be a blood test?

Hi! My clinic had me stop all meds cold turkey at 10weeks. I’ve heard different clinic do things differently though, what did yours say? Also after stopping mine everything was completely fine, and I’m 18 weeks now. But I can understand there’s a lot of anxiety, I felt anxious stopping too.

Thank you @Sel My fertility clinic will do one more ultrasound tomorrow at 8 weeks and I'll have the next US at 10 weeks at my OBGYN. I'll talk to my doctor in 2 days and I'll know more. Did they run any tests?

Stopped cold turkey at 10 weeks

@TK they did a blood test to monitor my levels at every one of my Ultrasound appointments! Also I had a subchorionic hematoma so they put me on extra progesterone to be extra cautious. But everything was fine otherwise!

I was weaned down from 10 weeks and totally off them from 12 weeks when the placenta takes over xx

My clinic says we keep medicated until 12 weeks.

10 weeks with estrogen, I think. I just stopped. 12 weeks with progesterone. I went down to injections every other day. With my first pregnancy I think I stopped both at 10 weeks. I suppositories at the end. I do think I tapered on those dosages, but I don’t remember 100% I did have a blood test at 8 weeks to confirm my levels were ok to come off meds.
