I just have something I need to say.
Yall. Say you got together with a dad that had a 2 year old daughter. You were together for 2 years and that little girl was your world. You created a family together, giving her a little brother. You have some issues with your relationship so you split to try and get some things resolved individually without being toxic. You still allow the daughter to call you mom. You still make a point to be there for everything that you can, regardless if it’s through the phone or in person. You do everything in your power to stay connected while working through your issues.
The actual mom is still in the picture but she has a boyfriend who can’t be around her kid. There’s actual court involved with this decision.
Tell me how a mom can just casually decide to choose a man over her own kid, while another woman is willing to drop her entire life to give this non-biological child the life she deserves?
I feel this so much - the mother of my two boys ( I call them mine because I’m more of a mother than she is or was ) is a drug Addict .. she goes missing and then shows up here and there in my boyfriends messages. She posts things about how great of a mom she is , and how she misses them … but she dropped her family for drugs …. It’s a hard position I put myself in, but I’m there for these two boys now.
