Super Anxious! šŸ’•

First time momma here (and first time being pregnant). I am so scared of morning sickness... anything I can do to distract myself of it potentially happening?! I know it's silly, but emetaphobia is reallllllll ladies

A piece of candy like jolly rancher or peppermint always helped me with sickness ā€¦ also smelling peppermint oil helped the Nausea

Congratulations!! Try not to think about all the symptoms everyoneā€™s pregnancy is different. I think I threw up like twice my entire pregnancy

Congrats!! I had a bad time with sickness, what seem to help was salty crackers and sprite

@Tia I know, I keep telling myself that.. but it's so hard šŸ˜‚

I was never actually sick but did feel sick. This only lasted for the first trimester and weirdly ate salt and vinegar crisps which make me feel better

B vitamins (in the AM), Unisom (at bedtime), seabands, and staying hydrated helped me through my nausea. If it helps, it is a different kind of sickness, at least in my experience. It didnā€™t leave the acidic feeling afterwards that would happen if I were sick with the flu or something. If you do have extreme nausea, you can talk to your doctor and they can prescribe medicine.

Also I took 8 pregnancy tests when I found out ā€œjust to be sureā€ lmfao. We had been trying for so long so it was a shockā€¦ then at like 5 months I took another oneā€¦. Just in case lol

Congratulations! Try not to stress about it because that isnt good for the baby.. you have a long journey ahead of you, Try to enjoy every second of it .

Hey there! I only get nausea if I haven't eaten in a while. So I keep saltines on my bedside table and in my purse. Ginger or peppermint tea has also helped. Maybe those will help you. Good luck and welcome!
