Daycare sickness
My 17 month old started daycare a month ago and has already been sick 2 times. The first one turned into an ear infection and antibiotics had to be given. Within a few days of recovery, she is going through another cough and cold.
Is this normal? we are thinking whether it is even worth it sending her to daycare and making her suffer so much with illnesses.

Totally normal for the first year or so. Worse in winter!
What about antibiotics? Have your kiddos ever had to take one? She already had to take them twice after starting daycare!
We try and avoid antibiotics but sometimes needs must!
My daughter has been sick a lot since being in daycare and a girlfriend of mine’s son had a fever of 39.0 after 3 days of gradual entry. It’s so common and I try to remind myself that they have to build their immune system. This is part of how it happens. Doesn’t make it easier when they are struggling but it’s something to maybe take a bit of the stress off
