Milk spilling from mouth

My little girl is 4 weeks today, since she's been born she can't seem to hold all of the milk in her mouth during a bottle and most of it falls out the sides of her mouth, her latch is fine and no tongue tie, I'm wondering if she needs a slower teat? We've tried pace feeding but its not helped, shes soaking through muslin/her clothes every feed. Shes gaining weight well though so shes definitely drinking some. We currently use tommee tippee closer to nature Bottles with size 1 teat, which is the slowest they do. I've purchased some mam bottles with size 0 teats to try. Has anyone else had this issue?

So I combi feed and have this issue when bottle feeding but I didn't really give much thought into it x but maybe I need to do the same

Dribble and spit up is normal but it sounds like she has a lot of it so it does sound like the flow is too fast. We use the Dr brown’s anti colic with the premie nipple when she was 4 weeks and now she’s 6 weeks we’re using their #1 nipple. Hopefully the slower ones you’ve got help!

My little boy is the same! He was 4 weeks early! Has the slow flow teats and still does it!

Avent natural 0 only drips milk if they suck so the baby controls the flow completely

Thanks everyone, I'll let you know how the size 0 goes and if there's improvement x

Update! Mam Bottles with size 0 Teats have been a god send, NO LEAKS at all, I feel awful for not changing sooner, poor bubs but hopefully this will help.

@Eryn in second this! Phillips avent natural flow, milk doesnt leak at all unless the baby sucks, used them for both my babies and never needed another brand since.

Tommy tippy has to be the worst brand of bottle that's out there. Every midwife, nurse, Dr and LC we spoke to said the same thing. Avoid them like the plague
