I hate cats!

Im a dog person. I have a husky but my brother has a cat. I’ve always been scared of cats because my childhood one was evil. He used to hide in the dark and jump out and attack your feet during the night, didn’t like anyone going near him and would come up pretending to want cuddles and randomly get his claws out a couple minutes later but he was clever. He used the toilet and was an escape artist (middle floor in the flat and he’d escape constantly out windows 😂) but my brothers cat is just a kitten so I thought I would’ve been fine with her. She’s an evil little bitch. She randomly comes up and attacks my feet/legs (like actually claws in attaching herself to me trying to bite me), she comes in and wakes me and my daughter up at 8am (while everyone else is still sleeping 🥲) by either clawing the side of the cot or playing spidercat (hanging upside down from my pillow if it’s hanging off the bed, walking along the SIDE of the couch ect.), jumping on my head and attacking my hair or climbing up to the top of the drying rack and getting herself stuck. She’s only about 10/11 weeks. I’m about 15 weeks pregnant (high risk pregnancy) so came to my mums for a bit of support with my daughter because I’ve been struggling with everything rn but omg I HATE THIS CAT Rant over 😂 I told him I was going to cook it for breakfast next time it comes in and wakes me up coz it’s been nearly every morning since ive been here and I havnt been able to nap today

Can you not shut the door to the room you're in?

@Alex I do but I sleep in the livingroom with the kitchen attatched and there’s 6 other people living here the cat actually gets shut in the bedroom with my brother but she always ends up in the living room in the morning

This might sounds weird but watch my cat from hell. Jackson Galaxy is a great behaviorist and so not in your face about things but gives helpful hints and tips for managing cat behaviour. It might help you out a bit

Sounds like she needs some play. Does your brother have toys?

Imagine the hate if this was a dog. Why is it people hate cats and it’s okay but the minute you say you don’t like dogs everyone is lynching you. If a cat doesn’t like you it’s probably for a reason. It sounds like it’s acting like a normal cat and calling it a little bitch is sad. Its not your house so either put up with it or go back, being pregnant isn’t an excuse to be nasty🤷‍♀️ can’t wait for the abuse I get from this lol but if I posted how much I hate dogs it would be the worst thing ever🙄

@Bethaney some people don’t like cats, some people don’t like dogs and some people just don’t like either 🤷‍♀️ she is a little bitch and it’s not her house my brother doesn’t live here either it’s my mums house who I’ve came to for support during a high risk pregnancy where I’m supposed to be on bed rest not amusing a cat that isn’t mine and likes to attack me and my daughter and not let us sleep
