When should I start testing for ovulation?

Had a medical miscarriage on the 26th (I was 8 weeks but we think I miscarried closer to 6 weeks). Still bleeding (today is day 10) but it’s decreased significantly and I’m not cramping anymore. At what point should I start testing for ovulation? I might still wait until after I have a period to try again but I just like to know what’s going on w my cycle bc they can be irregular.
