Help! The nappy rash ointment has been discontinued but it worked so well for my LOs nappy rash as she often gets it from too much acidic food. Fruit is life at this point. Can anyone recommend any alternatives?

The child’s farm one is brilliant. My little one has never had a rash but I’ve used it on her neck or armpits when they get a little sore and clears up so fast

Oh no! We used this with my first. I’ve just had a look online and there are a few places still selling it (not eBay for £100) so stock up quickly! X

I don’t know how you’d feel about this but rash ointment never worked for my LO. He had it suuuper bad so we had to spray him down with water (we’d lay him in his baby bath and use a peri bottle) then we’d dry him off with a soft washcloth as baby wipes were irritating and then put on aquaphor after every change. We use it for every skin irritation. We’d use Neosporin twice a day. Been doing it for 2.5 mo (it cleared up within a couple days and never came back, but he likes our makeshift bidet so much I didn’t have the heart to stop 😂)

Sudosalve is supposedly very similar

They still do a nappy cream - it’s purple now. We’ve been having the same success with it

We used to use this on the wards for adult patients too with specific type of sacral sores and they worked brilliantly and quickly! It’s such a shame they’ve been discontinued!
