Starting clomid without period
Has anyone started clomid without a period?
I am on CD 40. I have PCOS and have irregular cycles. I also do not ovulate on my own.

I took birth control for 3 months to have a period and on the third month took Clomid & got pregnant on my first cycle. You need to be having a period so you know what cycle days to start it.
I take Provera (progesterone) on day 35 if I don’t start my period. Pregnancy test first to see and then start that. Take Clomid day 3-7 of period or 4-8. It took me 3 days to start my period after the 10 days of progesterone. I have PCOS also and don’t ovulate on my own and don’t have regular periods. My OB is being very consistent to get me to have regular cycles to help! Good luck!! We are trying now too!
I think you’re meant to start it whilst on your period. And if you don’t have periods they give you another type of medication first to induce a period before you then take clomid
