Antenatal classes

Hi everyone, I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant, based in Crawley, and I’m looking into antenatal classes. I’m really torn between two companies, NCT and Happy Parents Happy Baby. There seems to be pros and cons for both and I just can’t decide which one would be best. Does anyone have any experience with either that they can share?

I did bump and baby cos the class times worked out better and was much cheaper than nct. Loved it. Great teacher Becky. Someone said it’s the most expense WhatsApp you’ll be grateful to join and it’s true. A year on and the girls still all talk and are our first point on contact on “help… what do I do about xyz”. I also really recommend doing the online free The Baby Academy classes. We did them from bed on the weekend and found it easier to absorb the info safe in the comfort of our own home. I think everyone we did was lead by midwives and a couple were really experienced ones who teach midwives in a few of the big universities, so plenty of experience.

The princess royal hospital in Haywards Heath do them for free it’s 3 parts I went to all of them and found them really informative! If you want more details feel free to message me xx

@Tawny I’ve signed up to these but could only see two. One for feeding and one for birth, have I missed one?

@Georgie oh they may have only done 2 now, the third was a bit pointless anyway it was very samey xx

@Tawny no worries, thank you ☺️

We did NCT, we did one that was two Saturdays instead of evenings which suited us better. No regrets, it was wonderful and still in touch with the people - some are very good friends and our babies are two now xx
