I'm a massive coffee drinker, and when I found out I was pregnant, switch to decaf and drunk that throughout my pregnancy at least 4 cups a day give or take. X
Thankyou girls for the reassurance! I was thinking gosh is decaf bad in other ways or is it better to just drink normal coffee but I just love the coffee taste! So if I can keep going on multiple decaf coffees a day then I’ll do it!
Also the pods you’re drinking only contain 8 grams of coffee compared to a normal barista shot of 18g and at home extraction (of caffeine) is much worse, so you’ll be fine having multiple a day 😊☕️
I drunk regular coffee throughout my pregnancy and baby girl is now 12 weeks old :) Iced caramel lattes were my pregnancy craving. Safe to say I collected my loyalty stamps at a lot of coffee shops 😅 x
Same thing for me. A coffee lover and now trying decaf with guilt
I bought so many boxes of decaf coffee to go in my tassimo and found i just didn't reach for coffee as much without caffeine, so my baby's now 12 weeks and I'm just plodding along trying to get rid of one decaf pod a day 🤦🏼♀️😂
I have always had caffeine all through my pregnancy all four boys are perfectly fine and healthy. Why are switching to decaf were you maybe advised by the doctor or midwife? I do understand that we all different obviously 😊
Decaf has about 97% less caffeine than a normal coffee and you can have 1-2 normal coffees a day when pregnant…. So that’s a lot of decaf coffees you can safely have a day☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
