What is the rent amount given by ODSP for single mom and child these days?

My new landlord is a family member and they would like to know how much max to charge me but I can't find the breakdown of monetary benefits. When I log into ODSP account it doesn't show me

Wouldn’t you have a case worker to provide this information to you?

@Sarah I'm currently trying to clarify who it is. I've had to make complaints because my case worker was quite awful it did not support me properly I even escalated this to the counselor. So I'm just waiting to know who it is therefore I am not contacting anybody but asking real life experience of people who are on ODSP right now

@Sarah in a nutshell what I'm trying to say is it is very anxiety provoking for me to have to contact my caseworker. She has not been helpful at all and the past two weeks I think they're assigning me a new one. Can't get into it just trust me LOL

@Sachiko I always appreciate your responses! But wait a min. If you look at the chart it says single mom and child is 875. Would I be interpreting that correctly?

Oh shoot sorry I didn't zoom into the chart. I went on the Ontario website and it seems to suggest $915 for a family of 2? Sorry, didn't expect this to be so confusing... You may need to clarify with your worker unfortunately 😕

I took another look at the chart, looks like the higher number accounts for the ODSP shelter allowance plus the child benefit amount, and those numbers are for 2023. $915 is probably the updated shelter amount only, for 2025

@Sachiko yup it's confusing!!! My casework actually picked up the phone only after I contacted another ODSP office 🤦🏻 FML. And yes you're right it's 915. FFS. My caseworker is the worse one I've ever had.

@Sachiko I confirm that is correct!! Thank you for doing that xo
