Aug 2 mommies .. what is ur baby’s birth weight and current weight ? My baby boy was born 6.4 lbs and currently weighing 16.3 lbs.. is it Normal?

My daughter was born the 7th she was about 6 pounds 10 oz she’s about 20 something pounds now she’s so heavy lol

Mine was 7 lbs 3 oz at birth and is now 15 lbs 9 oz. I think as long as they're staying on the same curve (I.e. 20th percentile), it shouldn't be a concern. Would talk to your pediatrician if you have concerns

My baby was born on July 31st so super close to yours. She was born at 7.2lbs and is currently 17.6lbs. Following steadily just above the 50th percentile. Confirmed to be very normal and healthy. It sounds like pretty much the same increase in weight as yours. My son was 8 lbs at birth and is now 18 lbs. He was born on Aug 14th. As long as there is a steady increase and your pediatrician isn't worried, you shouldn't be.

Aug 2 here! Our boy was 6.54 oz at birth. When he went for his drs appointment last month he was 17.54 oz. I’m assuming he’s around 18-19 now. 36th percentile Eta: I think that’s perfectly normal!

My girl was born july 24 at 7lb 9 oz and 15lb 8oz at 7 months

My girl was 3.8 lbs at birth 8/30, very tiny baby. Now she’s 16 lbs. She just doesn’t stop eating

Babies are supposed to double their birth weight by six months, so I think you’re good. He sounds like he’s doing well. My daughter was born on 8/23 and she weighed 8.15 lbs, she now weighs 18.5.
