@Layla I've done one level spoon for 4 oz of milk x
I’d try 1 and a half and then 2 if they are still being sick. You might need to change teats though. My little boy always managed with the variflow.
We've been using 2 spoons for 5/6 oz and it didn't work at first, we're now 2 week in and he's a lot less sick. I was so confused because I looked it up and it said it should work instantly to thicken the milk and keep it down.. but we didn't see instant results xxx
It worked instantly for my girl, I did 2 scoops for 4oz. She is now on 7oz and has 3.5 scoops, and I leave it to thicken for 4mins
I haven't used it but I think, if it's going to work, it should be instant. I will say though that my 7 month old is still sick, albeit less than he used to be, despite eating solid food now!
Scrap the carobel and look at feeding. A nice big wide latch with a slow flow teat and paced bottle feeding (ideally sidelying position) What bottles are you using?
The carobel took a few days to get used to but it's now working, thanks all for your advice 😊
Are you using enough? When my little boy was on it, it was almost instant once we worked out how much we needed to use.
