Potty Training Regression?? Help!!
My 3 year old has been fully potty trained for quite a bit. Never had night time or car accidents. But the last two weeks it feels like accidents have been happening a lot. Sometimes I don’t think they are even accidents.
He’s peed in the bathtub, the trash can, the dogs water bowl and even just next to rhe toilet. I say I think some are not accidents bc when he does actually have an accident you can tell it really upsets him and he tells us right away.
Is this normal? We don’t know how to deal with it as far as discipline or being gentle when it’s not a full accident. We are moving in two weeks and the last two weeks we’ve just been packing - idk if that is part of it maybe??
Accidents like this can be due to inappropriate trauma but it can also be a bladder problem some kids can develop bladder dysfunction and they have medicine for it if you go see the doctor but if he’s doing it on purpose and nothing bad is happening it can be that you can scare him into knowing it’s really bad and seriously by going to the doctor for it. Or you can sit down and have a chat. Some methods of discipline can be making them clam up after themselves having to wash things then they happen having to make them help clean it up this will show responsibility and show how inconvenient it is and that it’s not only gross but a hassle to clean
