First-Time Mom Without Friends

I’m alone in this country; I have no friends or family. When I got pregnant, I had only been dating my partner for about eight months—everything happened so quickly—and now I live with him and his parents. He pays for everything in this house and is responsible, but living with his parents is difficult. They want to impose their opinions about my motherhood. His mother even tells me that I only live there because she likes me, more or less. It’s very hard living here, but as soon as I had my daughter, my partner supported me and didn’t pressure me to work. Still, I need to—I want to live somewhere else. I just needed to vent.
