Hi @Sophie , it's been 2 weeks since her jabs It's just horrible, for the first few days, even thou she wasn't herself, she would eat and have her milk, but this week has been rough, she keeps the food in her mouth and then spits it out. I do have the saline nasal spray too, only use it at night so that she can have a good sleep, but night sleeps are always broken đ« Thank you for your response, I can't wait for her to get back to her normal self, I'm hating this stage of hers đ
@Son if you are worried then speak to your GP or HV. Not sure where youâre based but I take mine to the St Johnâs ambulance centre down Shaftesbury. You can book an apt online to see them x
Hi @Sophie , sorry for the late reply. I'm based in Newport (Wales). Luckily, things are getting better She started eating better again, slowly getting there. Even started walking some steps again
How long ago were her jabs? Saline nasal spray is a god send for blocked noses. Currently using them for my 8 month old and 2 year old. Unfortunately recovery time for baby and toddlers from being unwell/not feeling themselves is a lot longer than adults. It can take weeks for appetites to come back fully. Just keep doing what youâre doing with your normal routine, keep offering the same foods you would but maybe I have a bit more of what you know she loves for encouragement too! Also imagine it as if you had a flu jab or something, youâre not always yourself after and it can take some timeâŠ.and babies take longer. As long as sheâs having wet nappies for hydration too then keep doing what youâre doing! X
