Why is it so hard to make friends on this app?

I would really like to meet other mom’s who enjoy nature, picnics, rivers, waterfalls and all type of adventures outdoors along with fun activities to take the kiddos to, but it seems so hard to connect with someone on this app. I sometimes fall short in responding on time on this app, but a lot of the times people will message me then don’t respond. Is there anyone who have common interest in fun things to do with kids are 4? Just would like girl time occasionally, doesn’t have to be weekly, just would be nice to get out the house every so often with someone besides my bf and also for my kid to have a friend to play with.
