Yes, it takes a while to get the raised bump and then it fills with pus. After it has popped on its own, healing can take a while also.

Hey! My baby girl was offered it at the hospital on the second day she was born and we got the letter with the date on the same day. Bcg was done at 2 weeks and she was absolutely fine. She’s 8 weeks now and it’s blistered. Looks painful but I’ve been told it’s completely normal
