Baby put alcohol pad in her mouth

My baby put an alcohol pad inside her mouth. I had previously used it about two minutes beforehand. She took it out right away. She’s almost 7 months and weights 16 pounds. I’m concerned about long-term neurological effects. Has any of your experience these? I called poison control and they said she should be fine but I am scared.

I really don’t think you have anything to worry about. It doesn’t sound like she had any, just the taste, which was enough for her to take out of her mouth right away.

She took it out immediately, so she almost guaranteed did not swallow any. After 2 minutes, they're usually fairly dry also. And the alcohol in it isn't alcohol like we drink, it's a cleaning liquid. There shouldn't be any effects, short or long term, especially since she didn't swallow any from the sound of it.

Poison control are the people who would really know what’s up. Even the Emergency room staff call poison control with questions.

Like @Parker 又 said, yes, we call poison control in the ER, if they say she should be fine then she should be fine
