Is Lyla too popular?

I’ve only met one, & she’s about 35 yrs old. It’s spelled Lilah

i taught one who will now be 17, never met a baby called lyla. i think it's lovely and if you like it i'd go for it. my first has a popular name but i wanted to use it forever, so i don't care!

Same as @BoyMom i have a friend named Lilah and she’s in her 40s and I’ve never met any other Lilah’s or Lyla’s.

If you love the name please don’t let the popularity sway you. I know one child called Lyla. I called my little one a name that wasn’t popular at the time but now has been featured in the top names. We love the name we chose regardless and the meaning behind was more important than the popularity of the name.

Haven’t heard this name in a while- only know one from yeaars back… I think it’s quite unique!

I was going to be going with the name Lilah, but changed my mind. Someone I work with has just had a baby girl called Lyla-Rose. But I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s popular, because I don’t know anyone else with this name x

I don't know any Lylas or any variation of the name. Both of my daughters have common names that have been in the top 20 around their birth years. That being said, I've only come across 1 or 2 girls personally with my first daughter's name and have not come across another with my youngest's name.

I personally don’t know any and haven’t heard anyone I know use that name for their kids so to me it isn’t popular.

My daughter is called Lilah and we really love it 😊 we haven’t met any other Lilah’s so far and she’s almost 2 x

My Nan s name was Laila , I’m Italian but I guess her name has different origins has we have never met anyone with her name. Anyway Laila is now my daughter second name and I would suggest that to you guys, spelled in a different way but still sound exactly the same.
