Yes I’ve felt like that with all my pregnancies. I’ve been taking mine before bed this time and I still feel horrendous. The anti nausea helps if I can keep it down long enough to kick in 😂 xxx
@Kami @Leah sorry i forgot to add that I tried taking them also at night time but I still had terrible nausea the next day. I just give up on taking them now. Today is the third day I haven't taken them and I feel so much better. Hope you both start to feel better soon xx
Yes I’ve had this I skipped three days last week and didn’t have it. I took them throughout my first pregnancy and didn’t have nausea. Spoke to my midwife and said lots of people suffer from it. I’m back taking them now.
I use prenatals with folate, instead of folic acid. Folic acid would also make my nausea worse.
Yes, read that they can actually cause nausea. It's not in your head. Don't know why nobody warns women about this
@Kate it's crazy because I took the exact same vitamins with my first two pregnancies and I was absolutely fine.
@Jumanah do you mind sharing which one you use please?
@Jumanah omg talc!? What the hell 😫 I didn't know they put bad stuff in the vitamins, how are they allowed to do that. So bad! Thank you il try and get this one xx
@Jumanah yeah I'm so shocked! It's crazy! Thanks so much cx
Yes I stopped Pregnacare because they made my nausea so much worse. I have started taking Bassetts chewable pregnancy vitamins. They have been easier on my stomach
If you’ve been taking Pregnacare, they’re known for causing sickness!
Like Halima I’ve been taking the Bassets and I’ve been fine on them and they taste nice!
Yes this is definitely a thing! I ended up taking the minimum amounts of just vitamin D after the first 12 weeks last time because of this. My doctor said it was because my iron levels were high already and the multivitamin was basically giving me too much which was causing me to be so sick x
I think the acid folic causes nausea. I have the same every time I take them, so I started to taking before bed. It helps a lot.
