I’ve decided to go cold turkey enough is enough!! Has anyone got any tips? I’m preparing for a hellish few days/nights 🙈

My son was only having it for sleep; but tried to get rid this week. He was absolutely fine, if he asked for it I just said dummy’s gone! No tears, but it caused another issue where he was falling asleep in 5 mins previously he would be singing and talking for an hour 🫠 I’ve backtracked and given it back!!!
I’ve managed to get my twins to only have it for naps and bed time but it’s taken weeks to get to this point. Absolutely dreading taking it away fully
We went cold turkey and I had it that he could have it for sleep only I have him it for bed he flung it and refused to have it then he went into a horrible sleep regressions days in I gave him it and he slept. I'm going to do the same again no dummy in the day only sleep then only bed time and he spits it out for bed anyway so that won't be to hard. I 🤔 bk prepare for the worse and it won't be that bad. Also have a new comfort for little one like a teddy x
