Powder formula help

I’ve just started using powder Aptamil for baby and I’m soo confused on the measurements. As shown in the picture, 1 feed is 210mL and 7 scoops of formula. At the moment, baby is having 160mL of formula only, so how am I supposed to know how many scoops to use for this specific amount? Thanks

I personally didn’t use formula but I’d guess that you’d divide 7 by 210 and then times that number by 160, which I worked out to be 5.3 so a little over 5 scoops for 160ml of water. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though

@Lauren you are right

I use SMA and it gives you different measurements per age. So like 120ml water is 4 scoops. 150ml is 5 scoops etc. Maybe check their website? Otherwise I’d make a larger bottle and the baby will stop when they’re full

It’s 30ml of water per 1 scoop of powder. So do 150ml of water and add 5 scoops of powder. Once you add the powder, it’ll go up to about 160ml. If that’s not enough for baby, you’ll have to do 180ml of water with 6 scoops of powder x

1 scoop of powder per floz

You ladies are lifesavers thank you sooo much! I was so confused yesterday ahah! 🤩

@Martina ohh must be a new box because mine doesn’t have that but thank you so much!

Is it the follow on milk you’ve got? That might be why it’s different

1 scoop is 30ml, so 5 for 150, 6 for 180 etc

Its differet because of the age on the box so if your using stage 1 it will have all the measurements if your using stage 2 it will only have one measurement on there.
