Tum tum not leak proof for milk 😵‍💫

Decided to try and swap morning milk from bottle to her straw cup today as I could do with the extra 7 mins in the morn if she could drink the milk herself like she does with water. I warmed the milk ever so slightly (not hot) in a mug then put 5oz in the tum tum… its leaked everywhere! So I had to hold it anyway. What am I doing wrong, or what cups are we using?

I use the tum tum with slightly warm milk. I give it a shake over the sink to let out any that has come up the straw and it's usually OK then unless it's shook about a lot

No advice but I found the same thing when I tried giving milk in the tum tum! So bizarre! So I’ve just carried on with bottles 🙈

@Carly Thank you hun, I dont know what Im doing wrong 😂🙈 @Alice glad its not just me! My friend suggested Munchkin Gentle Transition Cup or Mam Trainer Plus so I’m going to research those and see. Another cup for my cup museum 😂

I had the same issue with cold milk in a tumtum 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve ended up getting a cheap £2 bottle, valve free, free flow, soft straw etc from Asda and it doesn’t leak 🙌🏼 the only difference is the straw isn’t weighted so my boys had to learn not to tip the bottle up when drinking

The tumtum leaks with anything even remotely warm! If we use ours whilst we’re out I notice it leaks out the straw a bit. It’s due to the pressure when the temperature changes because there’s no valve in the straw! I don’t know if the trainer cup they make is any better for it? Might be worth emailing them and seeing what they suggest, they’re very responsive!
