Hey, supply and demand! If they’re selling out at the higher price then that’s probably what they should be charging. I think that’s definitely a learning experience for both of them and if you want to run a business you should probably put yourself out there and do some of the selling. Do some leg work selling at football games and just setting up a little table. Anyways, the friend should have said they could sell for more and she wanted a larger part of the profit, she took advantage of her. Even if she felt like she was doing more work that doesn’t give her the right to do that. Also, I think it’s great running a business like that for teens. Teaches so many life skills and apparently what the real world is like too.
How much was the daughter making vs her friend?
@Maddy she did not specify the exact amount but she said 'the bestie' was pocketing hundreds of dollars more. On top of her pay.
I mean her bestie is doing all the sales which is the only reason she's making money at all lol. You can have the best product in the world and it doesnt mean shit if you cant sell it...But if bestie feels under paid for her efforts, she needs to say something.
