Skin peeling & tiny boils on the forehead - is this normal?

My little girl (3 weeks old today) seems to be developing tiny boils on her forehead, along with flaky, dry skin on her face, arms, and feet. I’m wondering if this is normal or could be an allergic reaction. I applied some organic coconut oil earlier today, but I’m not sure if that alone will help. Any suggestions? -A worried mama here 🥺

It’s normal my son has flakey skin I just put some moisturising cream and it went the little boil things are baby acne or what my midwife said baby rash

@Xena thanks! Hoping it gets better in a few days.

Baby acne - can come and go but usually gets better by 12w

My daughter had these (3.5yo now), it went away by itself pretty quickly, we didn’t use anything for it.

The dry peeling skin is normal, it's just the baby adjusting to the air and environment (and London weather!). I was worried about this too when my little one had it soon after birth, and still does 1 month later, but it's slowly getting better. I haven't been applying anything but I know some people do and it's helped. The tiny spots are really common too! 🙂

100% normal! The spots will go away on their own. By LO had loads but her skin is now completely clear! For dry skin I use moisturising cream, especially after baths
