Did with first, horrible constipation made everything worse. That’s not all babies though. Went on CMPA formula and I cut milk (combi) and that helped a lot.
We used the gaviscon and after 2 days stopped, our baby wouldn’t stop crying and straining, when he did eventually poo it was like crumbly biscuit. Went back to docs two days later and said the constipation was worse than the reflux and they moved us to omeprazole. Would never ever use gaviscon again, was really hard work trying to sooth our little one x

@kristina omeprazole has helped massively!! He’s still a bit of a handful at night but with a good burp after a feed, abit of spit up and 20/30 mins upright cuddle he’s a different baby to a few weeks ago!! X

My baby has terrible reflux and I tried gaviscon and he screamed literally for 24 hours straight with constipation. Never ever gave it again it broke my heart. As terrible as it is I’d rather him have reflux at least he can get that out
