Crochet/ Knit
I want to learn how to crochet/ knit so I can make blankets/ jumpers for my little ones.
Are there any workshops or courses in Gloucester/ Cheltenham? If not, best online tutorials and what kit do I need? Best places to buy stuff (hobbycraft or other store?).
Been saying I want to learn this new skills for almost 3 years. Need to stop talking about it and start doing it. Xx

I learnt on YouTube how to do. It’s great for beginners. Best place to buy yarn is charity shops or hobby craft.

Miju Wools in Gloucester (near the cathedral) do learn to knit lessons (they have a website but you’ll have to DK tact them for details). They’re very friendly every time I’ve gone in there (they also have a knitting group, I think). On YouTube Very Pink Knits does tutorials but if you search cast on/cast off tutorials or knit stitch/purl stitch, lots will come up. Hobbycraft is ok but can be expensive. All wool shops will have needles and accessories though. Online I buy a lot from wool warehouse, it’s reasonably priced, a lot of choice and fairly quick delivery too.
