Water wipes

Hi everyone, do we have to buy water wipes or is there a good own-brand equivalent? Water wipes seem so expensive!

I've always used huggies pure with my first. They are just as good but much cheaper - I usually bulk buy them off of Amazon https://amzn.eu/d/hgbmp8A

Water wipes are 99.9% water and Aldi extra sensitive baby wipes are 99.4% water, so very close. I used these with my son and never had any problems. When he was a newborn I did just use cotton wool and water when in the house.

i’ve bought one pack of water wipes and the rest are the Aldi sensitive ones.

I’ve got water wipes from Costco, worked out £1.91 a pack. Now I’ve only got 14 packs- I’ve got these as my first baby was coming out in huge rashes from any other brand even if they were saying they were water wipes. So we used those and cotton wool balls and water for the first few months. Afterwards, she was fine with other branded sensitive wipes & has been ever since- she’s 2 now. So we’ve got the water wipes for the first couple weeks/early months & then will begin using Huggies water wipes & then Aldi’s sensitive which we use all the time! I’d get some cotton wool balls in though incase 😅 my dad luckily bought me the water wipes as £23 a box is extortionate I know x

We used cotton wool pads, then moved to water wipes, then once she was a few months old, started to use asdas own sensitive wipes xx

Boots own brand are very similar x

Aldi ones are amazing and soft too!

Amazon own brand sensitive wipes we are using and heard nothing but good things. Also got cotton pads too

I found big flat cotton wool pads the easiest to begin with. Then used water wipes for a short while then swapped to adli.

My sweet boy has sensitive, dry skin so we have trialled many a baby wipe 😂 The ones that don’t irritate his skin are: - Water Wipes - Aveeno Baby Daily Care Wipes - Aldi Mamia Fragrance Free Wipes - Kit & Kin Wipes Water Wipes are currently on offer at Asda 🫶🏻
