Pre making formula bottles

What’s the rules now with pre making formula bottles?? Anyone asked their midwife or health visitor recently?

I think they don't recommend it but they don't recommend prep machines either. But once made they can be cooled and stored in the fridge for no more than 24hrs. Personally I will be premaking them and storing in fridge for convenience

So we had the starter packs for the hospital that was pre made. They advised once opened and touched babies mouth couldn't be used after an hour, however if only using some of the formula it could be put in another sterilised bottle and the opened starter bottle could be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours so that formula wasn't wasted. Ie the starter bottle is 70mla and my baby was drinking around 20mls, so I poured 20mls into a sterilised bottle the hospital gave and they stored the rest of the bottle in the fridge for me.

We were told not to and they formula had to be used within an hour once made

We just got a nuby rapid cool, so just make it when we need it!

We pre-make! Midwife and health visitor both said it was fine as long as it’s still being made with hot water at first to kill bacteria etc. Once in the fridge use within 24 hours, store on a shelf not in the door, and always within one hour from when baby starts drinking x

I was pre making at one point and just storing it in the fridge and it was completely fine. My little boy never had any issues.

I pre-made with my first, and kept in the fridge, I wouldn’t use it if t had been in longer than about 12 hours though, but you can keep it up to 24 hours, this time round I’m breastfeeding and bottle feeding breast milk

Hi everyone, just jumping on this... of you premix formula and store in the fridge, can you warn it up again for feeds...?
