Will my baby’s eye colour change?

So mine and my husband’s eyes are brown. Very dark brown in fact. We’re also both of south Asian descent and don’t know anyone in our family to have blue eyes. To our surprise, our baby has got blue eyes. I’ve heard baby’s eye colour can start as blue and then later change to brown. But typically this change can happen in the first month when they are a newborn? Our baby is now 4 months and this is what they look like. Is there a chance they will always be blue? Secretly hoping they do stay blue!

A babies eye colour can change up to 2 years after they are born. I have dark brown eyes and my partner has blue/grey eyes. My daughter has a light brown/Hazel eye colour which she has gotten from my mother much to my surprise so don't be surprised if they settle on blue if you have blue eye colour somewhere in past generations. There is a chance to stay blue. My nephew is the same - both parents have brown eyes, he has blue and he is now 3 years old, still blue.
