There’s like needs to be darker than the control line to be positive Usually recommend to start testing about 8 days after period starts

The test line will progressively get darker. If it is as dark or darker than the control line. That indicates ovulation will happen in about 24 hours. It’s best to start around CD9. So 9 days after the first day of your period. And keep testing until peak. Best to test 12pm-8pm with undiluted urine (so don’t hydrate as much)

@Charley she’s talking about ovulation tests!

I’m going to guess you got easy at home tests? And downloaded the premom app? The recommended time to test is between 10am and 8pm. You only need to test once a day until you reach your estimated fertile window, or start to get darker lines. (With premom, If my test reads around 0.65 or higher, I’ll test twice a day) I generally start the day after my period ends. Ovulation tests will always have 2 lines. A positive/ peak is when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. After you get your peak, you’ll ovulate 24-36 hours later. Peak day is one of the best days to BD. Something to keep in mind: it’s not always a steady increase to positive. LH can and will fluctuate throughout your cycle. So if you happen to have a lighter test here and there, that’s okay. ALSO. The numbers for the ratio don’t really matter. The darkness of the lines do. The numbers just help you see the difference in darkness

@Nicole SO HELPFUL. thank you!!!!!
