Who else’s parent make a big deal about them moving out? I’m 31 years old and have 2 kids. One is 12 and one is about to turn 5. Our house is too small and I’m the only one that has a job. They have some money coming in but I don’t think they want to lose my income.. idk what else to do.. they make me feel guilty for wanting to move out.. she tell me you got a roof over your head.. I can’t do a lot of stuff when living with them either..

Thank you. I think sometimes it’s good to hear someone say that.. sometimes I forget. I always try to please everyone but my kids come first and i have to keep that in mind when someone try’s to tear me down and make me feel guilty..
my parents pretty much kicked me out when I turned 18 and gave me $50 and I had to figure it out on my own. Do whats best for you. Just give them plenty of notice so you don’t put them in a tough spot. They are grown adults and shouldn’t rely on your income.
