Area recommendations

Hiya, We're moving from North Yorkshire to Barnsley and we're looking at different houses. Can anyone recommend some nice areas, not too expensive but nice schools, parks etc? Thanks!

Thurlstone has a primary school and a child minder and secondary school in the next village, 3 reservoirs to walk around within 15 min walk distance and a lovely park x
