anyone else really worried about finances with having a baby i am currently not working haven’t been for a month and i am constantly looking but nothing or getting nothing i am already 3 months pregnant. i have also been told they can get rid of you for being pregnant and wouldn’t keep me on or can make up anouther excuse to let me go while on probation due to pregnancies but ive been told thats illegal so they would make up any excuse to get rid :( i am worrying

Hi you will also need to take into consideration that even if you find a job you may not be entitled to maternity pay, as you would need to have worked for your employer for 26 weeks continuously up to the 15th week before your baby is born. As long as you declare your pregnancy a lot of companies will hire you because you are being transparent with them. What kind of work are you looking for?
