@seo but when you stop the milk do you go in an pick up baby to sooth or let them cry? I have tried that method a few times in the last month or so. And some nights he’s soo upset and hungry still other nights that works
@Michelle i soothe. I couldnt bear to let her cry too much
@seo Just wanted to note here that safe sleep guidelines are not to sleep with anything in the crib until after 12 months.
Does he fall asleep independently at bedtime or with a feed?
@Shannon yes my child was 13 months at the time
@Shannon he needs a feed though this week maybe twice he was fed before bedtime. Stayed up for 10 mins being playful. Then I put him independently in crib and he put himself to sleep. He appears to be trying to go to bed without rocking and feeding. Today this happened at nap time. I fed him he was being playful so I put him in his crib and walked away. He’s been napping still for 2hrs
How’s it been going @Michelle ?? If he’s an independent sleeper at bedtime but still wakes for feeds, I have a guide to reducing and eliminating night feeds I sell for $27 usd if you’d like!
Mine didnt sleep all night till 13 months. Give baby less and less milk slowly over 2 weeks. Eventually stop all the milk. Once they get used to the fact that milk is not coming, he will stop waking. Good luck! He will probably need a plush or comfort blanket instead
