Ear infection or teething?
For those whose babies have had an ear infection, how did you know your baby pulling on their ears was an ear infection rather than just teething?
Our lg has been pulling on her ears a lot tonight, has been teething for months but doesn’t have a temperature and can’t see any fluid or anything coming out of her ears. We assumed teething but wanted to check.

Ours was crying/screaming every time we laid her down to change and at night she tossed and turned so much she couldn’t get comfortable and sleep until we saw the gp and got antibiotics
My little girl had a temperature, refused to eat and would only sleep if I was holding her
He pulled/rubbed his ear so much he had a little cut/sore on it, the ear was redder than his skin colour and the doctor said more waxy 🤷♀️ no temp, no fluid bits etc. He was teething also but it just seemed different 🤔
