Helppp

Unfortunately I wasn’t planning nor did I want another kid, but here we are. Yes, I was on BC. With the unfortunate anxiety about my others and their traumatic birth experience (I literally just had a baby in Sep.) I have been using. I’ve been weaning off, of course, but when I went to my second appointment, they obviously found something in my urine test at the first one… this is not a legal state. Now, they will find it again from my 2nd appointment urine because I have been weaning slowly, to now nothing more than 1 hit. My plan is to stop today actually. Do you think I’m in deep sh!t? My partner also has no idea… all the midwife said was we found it and we need you to stop use immediately to which I told her, I didn’t even know I was pregnant at the time until like 3 weeks prior so… it takes time for it to leave my system and it is something I’m actively working on. ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED, TYSM IN ADVANCE

What state are you in?

I’m in Indiana they only take a drug test the first appointment and when you’re giving birth any other drug test would have to be patient requested went through that with my first

I was told as long as we test negative at birth nothing will happen about the original drug test. It will show that you stopped.

Okay. Yeah, I’m down south. But that’s reassuring… especially when I’m actively working to stop fully. But I’ve just been having to do more work

Are u in a state where you have cbd smoke shops? If so tell ur appointments that’s where it’s from. (Cbd & thc pop up the same on a drug test ) it doesn’t make u a bad mom at all. Just express that you are literally trying but experience the worst withdrawals. A lot of women who end up pregnant and are heavy users are told to not stop bc it could do more harm than good, to just do once a day for the nausea etc

@Sophia hey! Yes, i did tell them i got it over the counter because I DID. I dont have no dealer or nothing, i just get Delta 8, and that’s what picked up. I told them I picked up CBD drops, which I do have and also occasionally use for pain. Their response was “yeah, it’s really hard when things are provided OTC like that.”
