To nap or not to nap … that is the question

My daughter wakes up between 9-10 am everyday and used to nap around 2pm- 4pm and in bed by 10/11. Worked great for her and us but now she’s starting to refuse a nap some days. I thought it was way too young for her not to be napping but it’s my first, so I’m not sure. Should I just drop the nap all together? When we do , she goes to bed around 8/9.

going through the same, hoping someelse can give us advice

Some toddlers do drop naps around now but others don't drop them until much later! Keep in mind, there can be a 2 year sleep regression as well. If she's refusing a nap right now, but it's still incredibly cranky by bedtime, I'd still lay her down like usual but give some toys she can play with. 9 times out of 10, they'll get bored and fall asleep.

I say just drop map altogether or wake up earlier

My daughter goes to bed around 8-830. Wakes up between 7:30-8:30. Then I put her down for a nap around 1245-1. Naps until 2-230 sometimes she will usually get her up by 3 if she sleeps longer.

They’re should be a 6 hour wake time then nap and 5 hours or so after that until bed
