Naps - cap/drop

My LO is 3, he wakes at 6am & would usually nap at 1pm but he’s pushing/resisting until 1.30ish but I have to force it. At night he will wake after an hour of sleep then again after a few hours. Is it time?! When did you cap - he def still needs it I think? Or when did you drop?

We got rid of nap completely as he turned 2! He just wouldn’t go to bed at night if he napped, so he goes to bed at 7pm and wakes anytime from 6:30-7:30!x

When he was napping would he wake up in the night? Xx

My daughter dropped hers at around 18months. Under rare circumstances she’d nap now. Yesterday for example she had 2 naps. But she’s poorly and nighttime sleep is unaffected. But if I was to let her nap when she’s not poorly. Oh dear lord 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

@Jay yeah! He would wake as we came to bed and it was a pain to get him back to sleep!X

@Lauren were the same! If we were to let him nap now at 10pm he’d still need his toes tucking in or something stupid😂

@Beth I see people on here giving them naps for like an hour to 2 hours a day still! If I did that with my girl. She’s have a bed time of midnight I reckon 🥲

Stopped just before he turned 2. He fought it, so just got rid. Needs to be in bed by half 6 now before he gets too tired.
