@Sydney what kind of peptides did you use?
I started with GLP-1 and now I am using GLP-1/GIP. There are a lot of peptides and it depends on what your goals are, which ones you should use. There's a lot of people microdosing GLP-1s for health benefits even after getting to their goal weight. Some others that may be interesting include NAD+ which is great for energy and focus, Sermorelin helps with lean muscle, BPC-157 is wonderful for joint pain, recovery, and gut health. Glutathione for detox. GHK-Cu for hair, skin, nails.
It's been a huge struggle for me. I had severe gestational diabetes, wasn't able to control it with metformin and insulin, gained 90 pounds while pregnant. I'm 11 months out and still 55 pounds over my pre pregnancy weight. I'm still diabetic as well. I'm going to look into what Sydney is talking about!
@Rae research them! If you want to message me I will send you some resources. I work with a telehealth company that provides peptides. I've learned so much from them. I enjoy supporting other people on their wellness journey now, wherever they may be on it. Peptides or no peptides, my inbox is open for anyone looking for answers or even just support. 🫶
Your post is very relatable to my journey. I have PCOS. I was overweight when I got pregnant, gained 50 lbs while pregnant, and I had a really rough pregnancy. After having my daughter I was pretty miserable with my weight and health. Having children really makes you want to prioritize your health for them. I've been using peptides to help me lose weight, balance my blood sugar levels, and it's helping my hormones in the process. It is an amazing tool. I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight now, and working on losing more. I started off on a weightloss journey and it's turned into a total wellness journey for me.
