Milestones??
What milestones should we be hitting right now? I know every baby is different so I’m just looking for a generalization.
My twins can both stand while holding onto something, say dada, and grab things.
My son can do more I feel like than my daughter by grabbing things and placing them somewhere specific and then an eagerness to say more words.
My daughter reaches for me and is expressive with her sounds but besides “dadadada” she doesn’t want to learn to say more. She is killing it on the standing on her own tho’
So what do y’all think? What are some basics we’re supposed to either be at or working on?
Also, do y’all do screentime? What else are you doing with your LO?? I feel like tv is becoming toooo much in our house but our finances are just now allowing me to be more of a STAHM and I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing with these strangers I just met 🤣
My daughter can say Mama and Dada, she tries to say other words but they're more like gibberish but when she is pointing or looking at something then we can understand what she's trying to say My daughter can stand without holding stuff but once she realizes she slowly lowers herself onto her bottom 😂 I'm walking with her and helping her get more confident while standing on her own, help her learn some basics of everything by showing her what I'm doing, like turning off and on lights, and showing her how to play with her toys I let my daughter watch TV and we will watch Ms. Rachel, Sesame Street, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Sometimes I'll put on some more fun shows like Super Kitties and Kindergarten The Musical. My daughter plays with her toys 90% of the time when the show is playing so I'm not concerned. As she gets bigger we will be able to do crafts, learn ABCs and 123s, go outside and learn about nature. She will have minimal screen time and it'll still be educational.
