Potty Training Advice Please

I have been starting potty training with my 2.5 year old daughter but wondering is it possible to potty train if she is always in her pull up? I didn’t want to do the method to keep her completely naked because it really makes a mess everywhere so try to put her on the potty through the day and keep the pull up on and take off when I put her on the toilet to try. Am I wasting my time, lol? Is it just not possible to keep the pull up on for potty training, do they have to be naked all day?

Potty training panties are less messy & really helpful

My son did one day naked before he threw a tantrum and put his pants on himself. The "naked" day was only no pants. He wore a tee and when there was an accident I'd have him clean it up (reinforces pee goes in potty). We did a week of commando before he went back to daycare with boxers. Pull ups feel like diapers. After 2.5 years of being able to go pee in their diaper you are now telling them they can't.

Yah I'm not sure how you could catch her before she does it in the pull up! We did naked day for 1 day and then put a shirt on but naked bottom. Peepee trained in 5 days with no accidents after. Poo took a bit longer 😬🙄

We got two books and got him excited, then had a potty that we put in the living room or any room he was in, naked or pants but no diaper/training pants and it worked pretty quickly. Naked helps, and it’s not as messy as I thought it would be!
