The nurse told us to give calpol within 30 mins after the appointment. He slept more for 2 days. On the first he seemed ok, just sleepy, the second day he was just fussy - would be happy for a short period of time, then would cry abit so I would put him down for a nap, he would wake happy, and repeat.. so my boy wasn’t bad, just needed more sleep! x
Aw it's a worrying time but try just take it as it comes. My little boy was a little out of sorts (lots of cuddles, contact naps and feeds). He didn't get much of an increased temperature either but we kept up with the advice of Calpol within the first 24 hours just to be on the safe side xx
Just a bit of calpol and lots of love. Neither of me kids have been poorly after, just a bit hot that day and night but nothing calpol didn’t fix.
My boy was quite grizzly later in the day so I just kept up with the calpol and I popped him in a sling as all he wanted was cuddles x
Calpol and cuddles, we had started having him sleep in his next-to-me bed but on jab day we coslept as he needed that extra bit of mummy time!
my boy wasn’t really effected by them! bit fussy after because his legs were sore of course. but within the hour, was perfectly back to normal. no temp, no extra fussiness. depends on your baby!
Three doses of calpol then lots of cuddles x
