Forehead dent
My babys got a dent in her forehead around her hairline. It becomes more visible when shes awake. Currently shes asleep and its not visible. Im worried she might be dehydrated or its her fontanelle thats sunken.
Has anyones baby had a dent in their forehead?
This sounds much like your babies fontanelle. It’s perfectly normal to have some slight dip especially if its positional ie corrects when baby lays down or sits up in certain positions. What isn’t normal is if it is significantly sunken in, but is there other symptoms to accompany this such as reduced wet nappies, your baby isn’t feeding well, baby is vomiting or has diarrhoea if so then you should consult your healthcare professional or phone a healthline if your country offers it or visit an afterhours service or hospital emergency department.
