How to dress a newborn in summer?

As we have such unpredictable weather, I don’t know what to buy, I’ve bought a few thick clothes and a few thin clothing. I don’t know if it will be hot or cold around that time because lets be honest we don’t know in the UK what weather we will get 😂 What is everyone doing! ?

I’m in the same boat! I have brought a bit of everything in tiny baby, newborn and 0-3🤣

I've gone mostly short sleeve vest, sleepers, baby trousers and so many knitted cardigans (were made for my niece years ago and passed on), so that I can layer for the cooler days. Have got a handful of long sleeve vests as well but definitely more layering friendly outfits

I had a June baby nearly 3 years ago. That was the 40 degree summer 🫣 You won’t need anything thick. Even if it’s an average uk summer. I’d go for thin layers. Short sleeve vest, thin cotton sleep suits, thin cardigans etc You can always add a cellular blanket etc

I had a july baby 21 months ago and brought a mixture of summer clothes and warmer clothes so I had plenty of choices some days he needed the warmer clothes our old house was a cold house but this new house gets really warm x
